One person has been taken to hospital after a crash in County Durham.
Paramedics were called to a car crash this evening (November 11) at 5,47pm on Dentgate Lane in Barnard Castle.
Police and Fire Brigade were also reported to be on the scene.
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) has confirmed that one person was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough by road for further treatment.
A NEAS spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Dentgate Lane in Barnard Castle at 5.47pm this evening (11 November).
"We dispatched one ambulance crew, one of our community paramedics and a clinical team leader, and requested support from Great North Air Ambulance Service.
"One patient was transported by road to James Cook Hospital for further treatment."
