Northumbria Police are appealing for information after two remain in hospital following a serious car crash in Northumberland.
The incident occurred at 3:15pm on Wednesday, November 6, on the B6341 near Cragside.
A blue Skoda Scala, travelling towards Cragside from the direction of Alnwick, veered off the road and collided with a tree.
A passenger, a woman in her 60s, sustained serious injuries to her torso and was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
The driver, a man in his 70s, also suffered serious injuries and is reported to be in a stable condition in hospital.
Northumbria Police’s Roads Policing Unit has begun an investigation and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Officers are especially interested in hearing from anyone with dash cam footage or witnesses who may have seen the Skoda in the area around the time of the incident.
