Outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse has opened the doors to its new store at a popular County Durham retail park.
The outdoor clothing and equipment chain has cut the ribbon on its first store in Bishop Auckland, in the former Home Bargains at Tindale Retail Park.
The new 9,045 square foot store - which has created 10 jobs - will feature womenswear, menswear kids wear, footwear, and equipment, spread across one floor.
Mountain Warehouse - which is the UK's largest specialist outdoor retailer - already has a string of shops across the region, including at Dalton Park and Durham Retail Park.
The opening comes just weeks after new signs were erected at the retail park.
The new store is set to feature bestsellers such as waterproof jackets, walking boots, and everything families need for their next outdoor adventure this autumn.
As well as the Mountain Warehouse ranges, customers can purchase Animal collections.
The coastal lifestyle brand offers organic cotton tees and hoodies featuring the famous Animal logo, as well as skiwear and accessories.
This marks yet another big name to join the Bishop Auckland retail park, with the site now home to the likes of Next, JD Sports, Boots, Poundland, Pets at Home, Superdrug, and Marks and Spencer.

As previously reported, Home Bargains previously made the jump from Tindale Retail Park to the new Bishop Auckland Retail Park back in June.
The Tindale Retail Park store has remained empty ever since.
A spokesperson said, “We’re delighted to be opening our first store in Bishop Auckland, and excited to share our passion for adventure and great value outdoor gear for all the family, even the dog!”
