It is set to be a chilly day across Darlington and wider County Durham today with temperatures set to feel as low as 3C by later this evening.
Chilly winter temperatures are well and truly kicking in now as forecasters say temperatures will feel close to freezing later this evening (November 11).
However, the sun is expected to make an appearance up until 3pm this afternoon, causing temperatures to dip to 8C.
Wind is also forecast throughout the day and will reach a high of 8mph, with the sun due to set at 4:10pm.
Following a dry start to the week, the forecaster has stated that “overnight frosts” are expected from Wednesday onwards.
