Three people were treated by paramedics and another three taken to hospital after a multi-car crash closed a busy Middlesbrough road.
Emergency services were called to the A174, between the Hemlington slip road and the A19 roundabout, after a crash on Friday (November 8) around 1.10pm.
Police closed the busy road, sparking slow traffic in the area, with ambulance crews also ending several vehicles to the scene.

The North East Ambulance Service has confirmed that it treated three people at the scene of the crash, and took a further three people to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
A service spokesperson said: "We were called a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the A174 at Phoenix Park, Middlesbrough shortly after 1.10pm this afternoon.
"We dispatched three double-crewed ambulances, a clinical team leader and one vehicle from our Hazardous Area Response Team.
"Three patients were treated and discharged at the scene and three patients were taken to James Cook Hospital. "
Cleveland Police previously said: "At 1.10pm on Friday, November police were called to reports of a collision on the A174 involving a number of vehicles.
"A full road closure was in place on the westbound carriageway between the Hemlington slip road and the A19 roundabout and has seen reopened.

"A woman is reported to have an injury to her leg. Officers are advising drivers to avoid the area and to find an alternative route.
"One man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and driving without due care.
