A Teesside pub that has been in search of a new owner for a long time is set to go under the hammer in January with a guide price of £125,000.
The Red Lion, located on Ramsgate in Stockton, is a freehold public house with residential accommodation above and is set to go up for auction on January 29.
The National Property Auction will be broadcast live on the SDL Property Auctions website and open to remote bidding online, on the phone, and by proxy.
Registration for bidding will close at 5pm the day before the auction and it will commence at 9am.
The pub, which is spread over three storeys has a basement and a large, open-plan trading area on the ground floor can seat up to 70 people.
It includes a four-sided bar, a pool area, a kitchenette, and customer toilets.
A hatch gives access to a beer store basement.
The first and second floors house private residential accommodation, which can be accessed separately from the rear.
The residential space includes three bedrooms, a kitchen, sitting room, bathroom, toilet, and office.

An additional room is located on the second floor.
The Red Lion is situated in Stockton town centre, surrounded by retail outlets, offices, public car parks, and other licensed properties.
The premises will be sold with vacant possession and the fixtures and fittings remaining on the premises at the time of completion will be included in the sale.
However, third-party owned items, such as beer raising and cellar cooling equipment, branded items, and gaming machines, will be excluded.
No inventory will be provided and the vendors will not be required to remove any items that remain on the premises.

The Red Lion has been given an EPC rating of C.
The auction will be an unconditional sale type, meaning binding contracts of sale will be exchanged at the point of sale.
