A County Durham castle has unveiled a set of Christmas-themed events coming up this festive season.
Raby Castle in Staindrop has today (November 6) unveiled four Christmas-themed events for the season which will kick off in the next few weeks.
From meeting Mr and Mrs Claus at the Yuletide Yurt or walk along The Plotters’ Forest Enchanted Christmas Trail, there are four events set to take place at the historical medieval castle.
Christmas in the Entrance Hall, a chance to explore inside the "ornately decorated" entrance hall and warm up by the fire will take place on December 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16 and 17.
Tickets cost £15 for adults, £9.50 for children aged between 4 and 15 years.
The Meet Mr and Mrs Claus at the Yuletide Yurt experience is available on December 1, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22. Tickets for one child and two adults will cost £18.
The Plotters’ Forest Enchanted Christmas Trail will be on from later this month (November 16 to January 5) - daytime tickets are £9 for adults and £10 for children.
For something a bit different, you can also enjoy the Christmas afternoon tea at High Force Hotel - which is is £25 for adults and £15.50 for children.
