One person has been taken to hospital following an incident in Hartlepool.
Paramedics were called to a private address in the town on Wednesday (November 6) after what has only been described as an "incident" around 8.49am.
An air ambulance was sent to the scene, with eyewitnesses reporting seeing it landing at the Tees Bay Retail Park, off the B1277, at around 9.12am.
The North East Ambulance Service has confirmed that one person has been taken to hospital by road. Their current condition is not known.
A NEAS spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at a private address at 8.49am.
"We dispatched two ambulance crews, including a specialist paramedic, and were supported by our colleagues at Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).

"One patient was taken to hospital by road."
The Great North Air Ambulance Service said: "We were activated to an incident in Hartlepool at 9.03am and the team flew to the incident via Helicopter, arriving on scene at 9.12am.
"They worked with the North East Ambulance Service to treat the patient before returning to base."
