Country Court Care
After a successful opening in October, Ruby Lodge Care Home in Thirsk is to host its first community coffee morning.
The event on Friday from 10 am to 12 noon will become a regular monthly event on the first Friday of each month.
Ruby Lodge Care Home can accommodate up to seventy residents, providing residential and specialist dementia care across three floors.
“We're excited to welcome the community into our home for regular coffee mornings, following the opening supported by the Mayor of Thirsk, Councillor Andrew Trueman, said Home Manager Holly Hunton.
Customer Relations Manager Kirsten Idle said: ‘“Whether you are part of the local neighbourhood, a family member, or just interested to see what Ruby Lodge has to offer, these coffee mornings are open to everyone to drop by for a chat, tour our facilities, and connect with others in our community.”
Country Court was founded in 1983 by Roshan Bogha and current Chairman, Abdul Kachra with the opening of their first care home, Beech Lodge in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. The care home’s reputation soon grew and a further seven homes were opened by 1990.
"Through the standard of care and the modern, comfortable homes created for residents, Country Court aspires to provide the kind of care every one of us would wish our loved ones to receive," said Kirsten.
"The group operates 47 care and nursing homes and remains a family-run business to this day, with the company philosophy 'Our family caring for yours' at the heart of every home."
