A medical pen containing potentially lethal drugs may be circulating in Darlington following a burglary, police have warned.
The injector pen was taken from a property on East Mount Road, near Cleveland Trading Estate, in a late-night burglary (Monday, October 4).
It contains sumatriptan, used to treat migraines and cluster headaches. It can be lethal to those who use it without medical advice and without the required conditions.
A spokesperson for Darlington police said: "If found, please hand into Darlington Police station or call Darlington intel office on 101 for an officer to collect and quote reference number 490 of November 4."
