A falafel, salad, and juice bar has shut down in Durham.
Lazeez, located on the Riverwalk, in Durham City, closed down last month after nearly two successful years in business.
The takeaway opened in January 2023, serving up falafel wraps, sandwiches and salad boxes, alongside other Lebanese specialties, like tabouleh, stuffed vine leaves, and fattoush.
Online, reviewers called the Lazeez location a "hidden gem" for a quick bite in Durham, with "delicious food" and freshly squeezed juices.

But the shop shut last month, with a forfeiture notice posted on the front door on October 14.
Durham City has been hit by other recent closures, such as the popular Barrio Comida, an upmarket Mexican restaurant on the city's Church Street, and TGI Friday's, next door to Lazeez on the Riverwalk.
But the region has also benefitted from new openings - such as an expansion of chain restaurant Zaap Thai, on the Riverwalk, and new independent brunch, lunch and small plates eatery Isla, from the team behind fine dining Durham restaurant Coarse.
