A North East cultural venue is set to host a pop-up festive experience promising to bring a "winter wonderland" to the region.
The Fire Station in Sunderland is gearing up for the festive season with shows and a new pop-up venue.
FireSide, a free festive pop-up, will have outdoor bars, street food, festive decorations, heated seating, live music, DJs, and more.
Rhys McKinnell, CEO of Pub Culture, said: "The festive season is always such an exciting time of year at The Fire Station, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to offer some great new experiences this year to make it even more special.
"FireSide will offer our visitors a unique space to get together with family and friends, enjoy some pre-show food, and cosy up by the fire on cold winter nights.
"And with so many festive shows to take in too, this Christmas at The Fire Station will certainly be one to remember."
It will open at 4pm on Thursday, November 21, the night of the Sunderland Christmas light switch-on, and run until January 1.

After the festive season, FireSide will be available to hire as a hospitality venue.
The Engine Room will also be launching a new seasonal menu and festive dining experiences on November 27.
There are several festive shows to enjoy throughout December.
On December 1, the Royal Northern Sinfonia will perform, and Richard Hawley returns for a sold-out show on December 3. Paul Edis and Friends return for A Jazzy Christmas on December 16, and Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp perform on December 17.
