A Middlesbrough street was cordoned off after a late-night crash saw a car plough into a brick wall.
Officers were called to Crescent Road, at the junction with Longford Street, on Sunday evening (November 3) after at least two vehicles were involved in a crash.
Dramatic pictures from the scene show how one grey vehicle had smashed into a small brick wall, while another car, which had gone into its side, had been left with a crumpled bonnet.
The incident also left bricks spewed across the pavement, as well as a wooden fence, with other images showing an officer shining a torch on the aftermath of the crash.
Blue and white police tape was used to close off the residential road at around 10pm, with eyewitnesses reporting ambulance crews and armed police both at the scene.
