Two teenagers have been arrested after a medical centre was burgled in the early hours of this morning.

Police were in attendance at Rectory Lane Medical Centre on Rectory Lane in Guisborough this morning (November 2) at 4am.

This followed reports of damage to the windows and that people had entered the centre.

Two boys, aged 16 and 17 were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are set to be questioned by police.

A full police statement reads: "At 4am on Saturday 2 November police were called to a burglary at the medical centre on Rectory Lane.

"It was reported that a number of males were causing damage to the windows and had entered the premises.

"Officers swiftly attended and two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in police custody.

"Anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting reference number 210246."
