A home and leisure retailer has announced it is set to open a café in one of its North East shops.
The Range at Gateshead will officially open Café Eighty Nine on Friday, November 8.
The café has been given a fresh, 'continental style' makeover and will offer a 'village green' meeting space for customers.
The retailer has said there will be cooked-to-order food and premium barista-made hot drinks.
To celebrate the opening, kids can eat for free over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 8-10).
This offer includes children's favourites such as cooked breakfast, fish fingers and chips, and sausage and chips.
A child's meal will be free with each purchase of an adult main meal.
The menu includes an all-day English breakfast for £3.99, with a vegetarian option available, pizzas for £5.49, and burgers, curries, and lasagna for £6.49.

Café Eighty Nine also offers a range of coffees, including cappuccinos, lattes, espressos, and mochas, with prices starting from £1.95.
Specialty coffee drinks from Costa are also on the menu for autumn and winter.
The café's interior features green and cream stripes, cosy seating areas, and ambient lighting.
Alex Simpkin, CEO of The Range, said: "At The Range, we have committed to refurbish a number of stores up and down the country and Gateshead is one of many to benefit from this stunning new café.
"We are incredibly proud of the space, not only does it enable local shoppers to dine affordably pre or post shop but they get to do so in bright, modern new surroundings.
"A lot of time has been spent making sure that the food and drinks offering provides customers with brilliant quality while keeping prices affordable."
