A Darlington bird rescuer is available soon to heal and look after injured birds.
Laura Hewitt has been helping birds out for years but now she feels there is a need to take more in.
She can look after gulls, pigeons, doves, magpies and anything that needs help as long as she has space.
On November 12, she will be available to contact through her Facebook page to contact for advice or for rescue calls.
Ms Hewitt said: "I'm an independent bird rescuer based in Darlington. I take in all sorts, gulls, pigeons, doves, magpies, and anything that needs help so long as I have the space.
"Starting the 12th of November, I will be available for people to contact on this page, for any rescue calls and needs, even if you just need advice, I'll do my best to help!
"I've been helping birds out for a few years by myself, but recently the need for me to take in more has arisen. I help them either make their way back to the wild, to a sanctuary that can help them further, or even a pet home if needed like my current temporary resident Freckles.
"I have a wish-list on if you would like to donate any items to help me care for these little ones.
