People in the North East could soon see Santa Claus greeting guests at their local Toby Carvery, as the restaurant chain is seeking a part-time Santa to bring holiday magic to families throughout December.
The job, which is for the chain's Stockton branch, is centred around the "Breakfast with Santa" experience, which involves meeting and greeting children, delivering gifts, and adding a dose of festive cheer, complete with a merry “Ho, ho, ho!”
The role comes with some holiday perks. Successful applicants will receive a 33 per cent discount across all Toby Carvery brands, which may sweeten the deal for those who love hearty roasts.

Toby Carvery is looking for "someone with a natural knack for connecting with children and families, a cheerful personality, and a passion for creating memorable experiences."
Presentation is key, with applicants expected to keep up the polished and iconic image associated with Santa Claus, according to the job advert.
Known as the “home of the roast,” the restaurant chain is aiming to make each visit during the festive period as memorable as possible for its guests.
