Buses are rerouting and diverting away from the Hardwick area this evening, after antisocial behaviour in the area yesterday. 

From 5pm today, buses will omit the Hardwick area but still go to the North Tees Hospital and terminate there. 

The buses will reportedly be leaving North Tees Hospital and heading straight to Elm Tree Avenue missing the whole area of Hardwick and Bishopsgarth. 

Last night was mischief night which saw a dispersal order placed on the Hardwick area due to antisocial behaviour with reports of a bus window being put through on High Newham Road in Hardwick.

Cleveland Police released the following statement last night: "Officers have put in place a Dispersal Order in the Hardwick area, after a group of young people have damaged property and vehicles.

"Officers continue to be out on patrol in the area on foot patrol and in vehicles and will robustly deal with any incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour."
