X Factor winner Steve Brookstein seen at Courtyard Morpeth

Steve Brookstein won the first season of X Factor in 2004, which saw him gain popularity for singing renditions of classic songs.

After his victory, he released a cover of Phil Collins' "Against All Odds," which reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart.

He has continued to work as a musician, releasing independent albums, including Heart and Soul (2005) and Forgotten Man (2014), and occasionally performing in the UK.

On Saturday (October 26), the former X Factor winner was spotted singing at The Courtyard in Morpeth, and the pub was delighted with his appearance.

In images, taken by BACKGRID, the singer could be seen belting out some musical numbers and chatting to pub-goers at The Courtyard.

Posting on social media, the venue said: "What a fantastic night it was on Saturday when we had Steve Brookstein former winner of X Factor in the house.
