Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to after another man was racially assaulted and left with a bloody nose following an assault earlier this year.

Officers were called to Westgate Road in Newcastle City Centre at 4:35pm on September 1 following reports of a man in his 20s being assaulted.

The victim was allegedly racially abused and punched in the nose by a group of men, causing him to fall and bang his head.
