A puppy is still missing after being reportedly stolen from a home in County Durham.
Five adorable cocker spaniel puppies were allegedly stolen from a property in Kelloe, County Durham at the weekend (Sunday, October 27).
Since then, two people have been arrested in connection with the incident, and four of the puppies have been returned to their mother, Freckles, who was distraught after the theft.
But one puppy - a little girl - remains lost. She is too young to be separated from Freckles, so it is imperative that she is returned.
Police have encouraged anyone with information on her whereabouts to "do the right thing" and get in touch.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "The search is still continuing for the last remaining spaniel puppy.
"We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shared our appeal so far. Thanks to your help, four of the pups have now been reunited with their mother, Freckles.
"But there’s still one little girl missing and she needs to be back with her family too.
