A man has been arrested after a motorbike was reportedly stolen in County Durham.
Several police vehicles were spotted parked along High Bondgate, in Bishop Auckland, on Monday (October 28) after reports of the theft of a motorbike.
Pictures taken from the scene showed two police vans and a police car parked beside the roundabout that connects the street with North Bondgate and Finkle Street.
Reports suggest the incident concluded when an individual was arrested in a field, with a video online showing officers leading one man away.
Footage also shows a police helicopter hovering above a field. However, it has not been confirmed if the helicopter activity or footage from the field is linked to the incident.
Durham Constabulary has however confirmed that a man - aged in his 20s - has been arrested in connection with the incident. It is not known if he is still in police custody.
