A North Yorkshire marketplace building that houses a successful AirBnB property has hit the market on property site Rightmove for £375,000.
York House, a Grade II listed property, is situated at the lower end of the historic Market Place in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
For over 25 years, the property has been the home of a successful retail business, according to estate agents Irvings Property Limited.
The building has a number of rooms spread across three floors, including a one-bedroom apartment which has been described as "very well presented".
This apartment, which has a private entrance to the side of the property, is currently being used as a popular AirBnB which can be booked for £100 per night.

The listing for the property, which is ranked in the top five per cent of rentals on AirBnB with a 4.95-star rating, describes it as a "recently fully renovated apartment with Richmond's historic centre right on your doorstep."
The property also has a small paved yard area to the rear.
Planning permission has recently been granted for the conversion of the upper two floors to residential use, allowing the provision of two additional apartments.
This permission, which was granted in April 2024, provides potential buyers with the opportunity to develop the property further.
The property is being sold with a freehold tenure, and is listed on Rightmove for offers in the region of £375,000.
