Dave Day will return to Barrow town centre in 2025, event organisers have confirmed.
Earlier this year, tens of thousands of bikers flocked to the town in a procession led by Hairy Biker Si King to celebrate the life of Dave Myers in his hometown on June 8.
The bikers were accompanied by an estimated 200,000 more people on the streets of Barrow in what turned out to be a truly memorable occasion.
The event raised an astonishing £127,318.62 for The Institute of Cancer Research and NSPCC Childline.
Commenting on the total raised Lili, Dave's wife, said: "Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity.
"And we can't forget that the two charities that are doing so much amazing work, they are benefitting and so many lives are going to be helped by this amount, thank you."
Forthcoming details of next year’s event to celebrate the life of the famous Barrovian are due to be announced at a later date.
