The Great North Air Ambulance was spotted by residents landing in a North East city centre over the weekend - here's why.
Emergency services were called on Saturday when there were reports of a fall in Sunderland city centre.
A paramedic and doctor were quickly mobilised on the aircraft and arrived just 10 minutes later.
The team worked with the North East Ambulance Service to treat the patient, they were then taken to hospital.

A GNAAS spokesperson said: "On Saturday our critical care team was activated at 12pm to reports of a fall in Sunderland city centre.
"We had a paramedic and doctor on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 12.10pm.
"Our team worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat a patient and they were transported to hospital by a NEAS road crew, accompanied by our team."
