A popular comedian and Strictly Come Dancing star is set to bring his tour to Darlington.
Chris McCausland - who is currently wowing viewers on the hit BBC dance competition - will be bringing 'Yonks' to the Darlington Hippodrome on Friday, March 6, 2026.
He might have starred in the likes of Would I Lie to You, Have I Got News for You, The Royal Variety, QI, Blankety Blank, and The Last Leg, but he's actually been called an "overnight success" - even though he's been selling out stand-up dates "for bloody yonks".
Chris - who is from Liverpool - is blind because of a condition called retinitis pigmentosa, and lost his sight at the age of 22, according to The Sun.
Born in 1977, he is also well-known for his role in the CBeebies programme Me Too! - and it was in 2003 when he tried his hand at stand up.
Since then, he has gone on to star in numerous comedy panel shows over the years, before joining the battle for the Glitterball trophy earlier this year when he signed up for Strictly.
He's since wowed viewers across the nation, who were even left "welling up" in week five when he took on the waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone by Gerry and the Pacemakers in a special tribute to his home city of Liverpool.
Chris will take to the Darlington Hippodrome stage at 7.30pm on March 6, 2026, with tickets being for recommended for those aged 16 and above.
