Police were called to a sudden death at a high-rise block of flats in Stockton. 

Officers were called to Nolan House, off Alma Street, on Thursday (October 24) following the sudden death of a 34-year-old woman. 

Pictures taken from the scene at around 6pm showed three police vans parked outside the flats, alongside an ambulance and crime scene investigators. 

Cleveland Police has now confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious and that a file will be prepared for the Coroner. 

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at a private address in Stockton last night (24 October) at 5:05pm.

"We dispatched one ambulance crew, one clinical team leader and one rapid response paramedic to the incident."

Cleveland Police said: "At 6pm on Thursday 24 October police were called to Nolan House in Stockton following the sudden death of a 34-year-old woman.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
