Three people have been arrested after a "street fight" in Stockton.
Officers were called to Hartington Road on Thursday (October 24) after reports of three men fighting in the street at around 10.20pm.
Pictures taken last night showed how armed police in black uniforms had descended upon several areas of the town, including the Holy Trinity churchyard and Trinity Street.
Cleveland Police has now confirmed that area searches were carried out for the trio, and officers detained one man on Dovecot Street, another on Yarm Lane, and another in the churchyard.
The three men - aged 22, 30, and 34, were arrested on suspicion of affray and are currently in custody while enquiries continue.
