A former Darlington church is for sale and has been placed on the market for £195,000.
The old Spiritualist Church on Denmark Street, now a property with redevelopment potential, has been listed for sale by Carver Commercial estate agents.
The former place of worship, which is not a listed building, is located around 1.5 miles north of Darlington town centre, adjacent to North Road (A167).
According to the estate agents, the building is comprised of three main components which may be split or subdivided for alternative uses or redevelopment, subject to obtaining the necessary statutory and local authority planning consents.
The main church building, a former school, leads onto Denmark Street.
