A man is set to appear in court today after he was charged with two offences related to possession of a firearm.
The 33-year-old has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
This follows a reported incident on Union Street in Guisborough at around 10.10am on October 16. No one was injured in the incident.
A Cleveland Police statement reads: "A 33-year-old man has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate, following a reported incident in Guisborough on Wednesday 16th October.
"The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 23rd October."
