A special Halloween Market is set to come to a County Durham town over Halloween, offering spooky stalls and prizes for the best costumes.

Stanley Tricks & Treats Market, organised by Baccanalia, will take over Stanley's Front Street on Thursday, October 31 from 4pm until 8pm.

The market comes after the success of another County Durham farmers' market organised by the group with Consett Farmers' Market generating a buzz around the town and being hailed as 'brilliant'.

Traders at Stanley's Tricks & Treats Market include food offerings as well as some spooky activities for all the family.

A Halloween disco will take place in the town at the same time, promising themed music and performances.
