A popular North East Christmas village and lights show is set to return this year, with 14 new traders announced for the festive event.
Northern Lights Newcastle will transform Leazes Park into a magical wonderland for its second year from November 22.
With 14 new world-class illuminations, two charity collaborations, a spectacular lake show, and a Christmas village full of local food traders, the event promises to be a festive experience for all.
Already, more than half of the light trail tickets have been sold, with 45,000 snapped up by eager visitors.
New additions to the Christmas village are 40 Ounce Burgers, a local and viral food favourite, and Take the Bait, a fish and chip unit run by Falcons Rugby Events.
Acropolis will bring Greek street food, while Twisted Chick and Parmorama return with their tender chicken dishes and classic parmos respectively.
Redheads Mac N Cheese also makes a comeback, along with Truly Madly Pizza, Doughvine Desserts, and Monument Coffee.
Reiss Maddison from 40 Ounce Burgers said: "We’re so excited to be part of Northern Lights Newcastle for our first year.
"This is an amazing event, and we can’t wait to share our famous burgers with everyone visiting the trail.
"It’s the perfect setting for a festive feast, and we’re thrilled to be here."
