A man has been fined for stalking a woman by visiting her home and making unwanted contact in County Durham.
Jin Lou, 36, whose address was given as the Royal County Hotel, Old Elvet, Durham, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court.
He admitted to repeatedly visiting the woman's home unannounced and making unwanted contact via messages and calls.
The incidents occurred in County Durham between October 8 and October 18.
Lou was charged with stalking without causing fear, alarm, or distress, under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
He pleaded guilty and was fined £384.
The court took his guilty plea into account when determining the fine.
Lou was also ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £154 surcharge.
A year-long restraining order has also been imposed on Lou, effective from October 21.
This order prohibits him from contacting the woman directly or indirectly by any means.
He is also banned from entering the town of Crook.
Lou must pay the full amount by October 28.
The court made a collection order, requiring Lou to make payments as ordered, by the date specified.
