A spooky event is set to come to Darlington this weekend with special supernatural guests, food and much more - here's all the details.
The Central Hall at The Dolphin Centre in Darlington will this weekend (October 26) become the home of all things spooky for a 'Nightmare Soiree'.
The big night, which kicks off at 7pm, will include a hot meal and a talk by 'Help My House is Haunted' star and historian Neil Storey.
Guests will also be treated to music from the aptly named The Shrieking Witches and the Mwahaha's.
The evening has been put together over many months by organisers Cassie Cooper and Sylvia Clement - who are putting together the final touches as the clock ticks down.
Cassie said: "It's all come together in a great way and we are super grateful for the support. We are encouraging guests to come dressed up for Halloween or wearing black.
"We've had the help of artists who have transformed the room and created a backdrop. We've been putting things on socials for months now.
"This is the first social of its kind, the first supernatural event that Darlington has had. It's great to have something that we have wanted to attend for so long but hasn't been in the area.

"We hope everyone has a terrifying night!"
Currently, the pair are expecting around 80 attendees and are "happy" with the number of people who have been getting involved and the reaction on social media.
