A house which has caused major issues for residents in County Durham has been closed by police after a court order was successfully granted.
The house, in Zetland Road in Barnard Castle, has caused significant issues for nearby residents due to 'prolonged antisocial behaviour (ASB)'.
Over the last six months, the Barnard Castle neighbourhood policing team, led by Sergeant Angela Drasdo, obtained a partial closure order in July this year, however, due to continuing incidents, officers secured a partial house closure preventing anyone apart from the single-named tenant from entering the property or the gardens to the front or rear for a further three months.
Anybody found in breach of the order will be arrested, fined, or imprisoned for up to 51 weeks.
