A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident last week.
Police have confirmed that a 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Guisborough last week (October 16).
A 19-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
Two others, aged 52 and 59 were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A full police statement reads: "Two men have now been arrested in connection with a reported incident in Guisborough on Wednesday 16th October.
"The reported incident happened on Union Street around 10:10am. No one was injured.
"A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
"Additionally, two women aged 52 and 29 have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
"All remain in police custody at this time."
