A paedophile has been locked up for 13 years following a string of sexual offences against children.
Stephen Taylor of Middlesbrough has been put behind bars following a string of offences over several years.
Following a report, an investigation was launched by Cleveland Police’s specialist Children and Vulnerable Adults (CAVA) team and the 49-year-old was arrested and charged with 17 offences.
He was charged with four counts of controlling or coercive behaviour, 12 counts of sexual activity with a child, causing a child to watch a sex act and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
At Teesside Magistrates’ Court on August 19, he admitted all 17 offences and he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
Today, October 18, Taylor was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
