The Great North Air Ambulance was spotted by residents landing in the North East this afternoon - here's why.
Emergency services flocked to Westgate in Guisborough this afternoon following reports of a medical incident on a bus.
Multiple ambulances were at the scene from 2.20pm and the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called at 4pm.
A GNAAS spokesperson said: "Our critical care team was activated at 4pm to reports of a medical incident in the Westgate area of Guisborough. We had a paramedic and doctor on board our aircraft."
A North East Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called shortly after 2:20 this afternoon to a medical incident on a bus travelling on Westgate, Guisborough.
"We dispatched three double crewed ambulances, a clinical team leader and requested support from Great North Air Ambulance Service."
