Wensleydale Railway's 'Bonfire Express' service is set to return this November.

The service will take visitors to the annual Bedale community bonfire and fireworks event.

A special train service will operate on Saturday, November 2, between Leyburn and Leeming Bar.

Trains are scheduled to depart from Leeming Bar at 4pm and Leyburn at 5pm.

All tickets have been priced at £10 for a return journey, while children under 16 can travel for free, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.

Nick Keegan, the marketing and fundraising manager at Wensleydale Railway, said: "Our special bonfire express service is ideal for people looking to visit Bedale’s bonfire and fireworks event and avoid the hassle of travelling on busy roads and the stress of finding a car parking space.

"Why not let the train take the strain this year?"
