A pedestrian was taken to hospital this morning, following a car crash in Darlington.
A car collided with a pedestrian on Edgecomb Drive near Staindrop Road, just after 8am today (Thursday, October 17).
Police and paramedics were called to the incident, and took the pedestrian to hospital.
Thankfully, her injuries are not believed to be serious.
Motorists driving into Darlington reported diversions in place to avoid congestion around the crash site.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called at 8.10am today (October 17) following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Edgecombe Drive, in Darlington.
"Paramedics were also called to the incident and took the pedestrian to hospital.
"Her injuries are not believed to be serious."
