Are you wanting to head out this year and watch the fireworks light up the night sky? Here's a list of 6 firework displays going on in County Durham and Darlington this year.

The nights may be cold and chilly but that means there are two things for us all to look forward to. Christmas, but first, Bonfire Night.

Across the region there are many firework events taking place that include fairgrounds, rides, tasty food and drink and much more.

Some are free, but others are ticketed ahead of many of the displays kicking off in early November.
