A building linked to a former Big Brother star has appeared on the sale market for offers over £135,000.

The property, at 39 Blackwellgate in Darlington, once housed Mr Hutton's barbers and bar, owned by the star of Big Brother back in 2005, Anthony Hutton.

Mr Hutton decided to open the business in 2015, although many questioned the concept, but it closed to customers in 2023.

“Some questioned the concept as it had never been done in Darlington but I was very passionate about the concept and didn’t stop until it happened, and without doubt, it’s one of the best things I’ve done and most proud of.

“The time has come when our lease has come to an end and we have decided to not renew our lease, a very difficult decision but wanting my Saturday evenings back to spend more time with family made it a lot easier to make."
