Greggs is set to open a champagne bar in Fenwick selling 'reimagined' pasties alongside £425 bottles of fizz.
The pop-up bar will open on October 24 offering a selection of Greggs pastries with a gourmet twist, including sausage rolls drizzled with hot honey sauce and steak bakes served with peppercorn aioli.
It will serve a curated selection of champagne, including Bollinger Rosé, Laurent Perrier, and Louis Roederer Cristal, which will be sold by the glass.
A spokesperson for Fenwick said: "This October, Fenwick Newcastle proudly reunites with fellow North East icon Greggs to bring you an exclusive dining experience.
"Opening on October 24, the Greggs Champagne Bar at Fenwick pairs your favourite bakes and rolls with fine champagne in a pop-up that promises to be the city's hottest new destination."

Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available.
Greggs fans will also be able to buy the champagne from Fenwick's food hall to take home.
The drinks menu will feature a cocktail list that includes the return of the 'Pink Jammie Fizz', inspired by the Greggs pink jammie doughnut.
New cocktails include the 'Yum Yum Twist', made with real Yum Yums and rum, and the 'Cream Éclair', a vanilla vodka-based drink with dark chocolate liquor. Non-alcoholic options will also be available.
The champagne bar will be open daily from 11.30am until close, with last food orders one hour before closing.
Customers will be able to book a table at the new experience, with reservations now open.
Greggs was founded in Newcastle in 1939 and has since become a well-known bakery chain across the UK and a source of North Eastern pride.
The opening of the champagne bar in Fenwick is the latest development in Greggs' expansion plans, which have included the opening of new shops and the introduction of new menu items in recent years.
