An investigation has been launched after a crash involving a bus and car in Middlesbrough today.
Emergency services were alerted after a car collided with a bus which appears to have then crashed into a bus stop on Acklam Road at about 4.45pm on Tuesday (October 10).
Police remain at the corner of Trimdon Avenue, between The Master Cooper and Hall Drive, where they have been redirecting traffic after a road closure.
An ambulance crew attended and assessed those on the scene, but noone needed to be taken to hospital.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said earlier: "We're currently advising drivers to avoid the area of Acklam Road in Middlesbrough while we respond to a collision between a car and a bus.
"The road is currently blocked therefore please use alternative routes."
