The 68-year-old, of Hartington Road, Stockton, was charged with committing an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, namely defecated onto a public bench on June 1.

Wanless attended Teesside Crown Court to be sentenced yesterday (Tuesday, October 15) but was sent home as a pre-sentence report had not been completed.

Judge Francis Laird KC told the defendant that he must return to court on November 20 when he will be sentenced of the offence.
