A manhunt is underway to locate a man actively avoiding arrest for multiple assaults.
Officers are appealing for the public’s help to locate Nathan Cullen, 33, of North Shields.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate Cullen, who is understood to be actively evading arrest.
Officers from Northumbria Police are today (Tuesday) asking for the public’s help to trace him – and have appealed for anyone with information which may assist their enquiries to come forward.
A spokesperson said: "Members of the public are also reminded that harbouring a wanted person is an offence and those involved could face prosecution.

"Cullen, or anyone who believes they have seen him, should send Northumbria Police a direct message on social media or use the live chat function on the force’s website."
