Tudor, of Welburn Grove in Ormesby, Middlesbrough, was previously charged with grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident but recharged with manslaughter following the death of the 42-year-old.
Judge Francis Laird KC adjourned the sentencing hearing until next month.
He said: “You have pleaded guilty to the offence of manslaughter and I will sentence you on November 28.
“No pre-sentence report has been requested and I do not order one.”
