A family has set up an extensive Halloween display in North Yorkshire to help raise funds for charity.
The display, on Mercer Drive in Catterick Garrison, will be open every day until 10pm, with additional features to be added on Halloween night.
The military family has set up the display to benefit Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity that support children who have lost a parent through military service.
The owner of the house, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: “We absolutely love Halloween, so seeing the response from those who have visited us brings us so much joy!
"It's made even better this year with raising funds for the amazing charity - Scotty’s Little Soldiers - who work so hard to bring some joy and help to the children who have sadly lost a parent who have passed away whilst serving in the armed forces.”
She added: “The response from the local community has been overwhelming and we appreciate every donation and share of our display.”

The family invites the community to visit on Thursday, October 31 from 4.30pm to 9pm for treats and entertainment, including music and animated props to create the ‘ultimate Halloween night’.
Donations can be made via a JustGiving link found on their Facebook page, “Mercer Halloween House”, or through donation buckets at the display.
The family is encouraging residents to contribute to the cause while enjoying the spooky atmosphere in order to help other military families.
