Stars of BBC show Gladiators are set to appear at a North East shopping centre in October half-term.

The cast members will be at the Metrocentre on Saturday, October 26, when visitors will have the chance to meet their favourite Gladiators, take photos, and participate in an inflatable version of the famous duel event.

The meet-and-greet sessions and inflatable arena will be available from 10am to 4pm on a first-come, first-served basis, completely free of charge.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early as it is expected to be a busy day.

"Gladiators is a show that has been watched and loved by families for decades, so to have members of its cast at Metrocentre sharing in the excitement ahead of the new series is a delight."

After wrapping up the filming of the latest season in Sheffield, the cast of Gladiators is touring the UK, bringing fans an immersive experience ahead of the highly anticipated second series, which is set to air in early 2025.

Dan Cavallo, marketing manager for the BBC, added: "We're so excited to be bringing the Gladiators to Metrocentre in the North East.

"We know how popular the show has been here and how important it is that we take this activation out into the regions too."
