A man has been arrested following reports of a burglary in the early hours of the morning in Darlington over the weekend.
Police were present on Victoria Embankment in Darlington just before 5am on Sunday (October 13) over the weekend following reports of a burglary.
An investigation has now prompted the arrest of a man in his 30s in connection with the incident.

A full police statement reads: "Police were called to reports of a burglary at an address on Victoria Embankment in Darlington at around 4.45am on Sunday (October 13).
"Officers attended the area and later arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the incident.
"Enquiries remain ongoing."
